From 04 October to 25 October 2021, the main breeding season of Hilsa is 22 days. Hilsa fishing, transportation, sale, stockpiling and exchange are prohibited at this time. There are provisions for jail and fine for disobeying the law. All the people of Betagh Upazila were requested to abide by the law.
